ABOUT US

“From the simplicity of routine maintenance to the intricacy of complex repairs, our pledge is to deliver service that not only meets but consistently surpasses client expectations. With us, your equipment doesn’t just receive care; it experiences a standard of excellence rarely matched in the industry.

STEAM STERILIZER CHAMBER CLEANINGS

During our customers’ scheduled cleaning servicing, we utilize an acidic detergent wash to scrub and remove the scaling build-up layers from the chamber walls and interior surfaces. This acid solution is chemically designed for cleaning sterilizer chambers made by one of the leading Original Equipment Manufacturers that build surgical steam sterilizers. We then use cleaning techniques and procedures, which are approved by the OEMs of sterilizers as follows by their Instructions For Use (IFU). Finally, we use a neutralizing rinse agent and process to break down the acidic components of the cleaning solution and polish the exterior surfaces of the doors and paneling to achieve a brilliant shine to the sterilizers.

SURGICAL CASE CART REPAIR AND SERVICES

Surgical Case Cart Repairs and Services are performed on-site at the customer’s facility. We offer both Preventative and Corrective Maintenance services and perform repairs for the carts such as: Door and Hinge Alignments, Doorkeeper alignments, Cart Inspections, Caster lubrications and/or Replacements, Re-welding of latches or broken welds on carts (Major/Minor Welding services), replacement bumpers, and other tasks as needed for maximum cart performance and efficiency.

O.R. DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT REPAIRS

We make repairs to common medical devices and items found in most room suites such as: Back-Wall Tables, Prep Stands, Ring Stands, IV Poles, Kick-Buckets, Sitting Stools, Anesthesia Chairs, and Mayo Stands. Services include, but not limited to: Caster Lubrication and/or Replacements, Re-Welding of broken welds (Major/Minor), Inspections, and Adhesive Removal/Surface Cleaning.

SURGICAL STIRRUP REPAIR

We can service and repair the surgical stirrups such as a hydraulic cylinder and boot padding replacement.  Surgical stirrup repair typically involves the maintenance or fixing of the support systems used to hold a patient’s legs in position during surgical procedures. These stirrups are critical for providing both stability and access for the surgeon. Repair work may include tightening loose components, replacing worn-out parts, or even recalibrating the stirrup to ensure that it meets safety and functional standards. This ensures the stirrup can effectively support the weight and positioning needs of a patient while maintaining comfort and minimizing the risk of injury.

CONTRAST MEDIUM (CT) SODIUM INJECTORS

We have a partnership with one the nation’s leading companies on providing CT Injector repairs and services from Full Service Maintenance to Injector PM kit replacement, emergency equipment repairs and more.

Contrast Medium (CT) Sodium Injector Service refers to the maintenance, calibration, and repair of the specialized injectors used in CT scans for administering sodium-based contrast agents. This service ensures that the injectors are functioning at optimal levels, delivering precise volumes of contrast at accurate rates. Technicians may clean, test, and replace worn or defective parts to meet safety and performance standards. Regular service is crucial for ensuring the reliability of diagnostic imaging procedures and minimizing risks to patients.

SURGICAL INSTRUMENT REPAIR AND SERVICE

We have work in partnership with another highly successful and respected company within the industry on providing both *on-site (mobile) and off-site (shop) repairs on surgical instrumentation as well as specialty devices such as: surgical cameras, endoscopes (rigid/flexible), fiber optic cables, and power equipment. NOTE: (*) Our on-site mobile instrument repair service is currently limited to certain regions and coverage areas within the Continental United States and may not be available in your state and/or region.

CLIENT TESTIMONIALS

“I have worked with Melvin Truss for over a year now and am delighted with the work he has carried out so far. Our company (SOSI) is subcontracted to run the Sterile Processing department at various hospitals in the Atlanta area, so all project work needs to be of the highest quality, which is what we get with Melvin’s team. Melvin was tasked with cleaning the 13 steam sterilizers here at my facility between the OR and SPD over one weekend. Melvin understands the high standards that our company has and was most efficient in delivering well within time limits. I would highly recommend working with him for your sterilizer cleaning needs.”

Barry L Bryant, CRCST, CSS Manager,
Surgical Operational Services Inc.

“I have known Melvin for about 10 plus years and he has a very good personality and he’s an honest person. He takes great pride in his work and does it to his very best ability. He will go that extra mile for his customers. He is a pleasure to work with and know.”

Faye Cochran, Coordinator
Northeast Georgia Medical Center

“I have worked with Melvin Truss in two capacities. The first time I worked with Melvin was through a company that performed repairs on our case carts. The other area I worked with him was cleaning steam sterilizers and sterilization carts. Melvin always presented himself in a professional manner, was pleasant to work with, dependable and produced excellent work. He did an excellent job on case cart repairs which saved our facility a lot of money by not having to replace the broken carts. Some carts in the system are over 25 years old. The sterilizer cleaning he performed was also excellent. Our sterilizers looked like new inside and out.”
